Science: Who we are and what we do!

Russell Springer
Russell Springer was born in New York City and he grew up loving the American Museum of Natural History. These days he enjoys wandering through the Boston Museum of Science and the Harvard Museum of Natural History.
Russell has visited some interesting places and enjoys learning about the many cultures of the world. He has explored Angkor Wat in Cambodia, touched Stonehenge in England, gazed at a sunset in Santorini, Greece and counted the terracotta warriors in Xi’an, China.
For many years, Russell taught American history and science in Newton, MA and he still loves learning about the past. Boston provides him with a treasure trove of historical locations to visit.
At the Manning, Russell teaches Pre-K through 5th grade science and he shares a love for this subject with his students. Science is divided into Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth and Space Science. Technology and Engineering is woven throughout these three main branches.
